Peter Schneider

About Peter

Peter Schneider began his legal career as in-house counsel for one of Western Washington’s largest collection agencies. During his time there, he saw firsthand how collection agencies prey on consumers by intimidating, misrepresenting, and outright lying to them.

In 2015, after hearing too many consumers tell their stories of this abuse, he switched sides and began helping consumers fight back against collection agencies. He truly enjoys representing the little guy against big banks. Every case is important to Peter, because every case is a chance to help level the playing field.

In addition to defending against debt collection lawsuits, Peter’s practice also involves commencing lawsuits against collection agencies under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and state consumer protection acts. If a collection agency has violated any of these acts, Peter can often end up getting the debt forgiven and sometimes put money in his client’s pocket.

When he’s not busy fighting for the little guy, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.

Peter Schneider is licensed to practice law in Washington, Oregon, California, and Montana.
